Sunrise Balloons has been operating for over 12 years.  A family-run firm, they have well over 1000 hours ballooning experience, as well as thousands more hours flying light aircraft.

Passengers will be picked up from their accommodation and driven to their dawn departure point.  The air is calm and cool at this time of day, just perfect for getting the most from your flight.  Watching the world below you wake up, ready for the new day, is spectacular to witness, life-changing, even.

Your flight will last around an hour, but allow a total of four hours for the whole experience.  In addition to the magical balloon trip, you'll also be treated to a champagne breakfast upon landing.  Sights you'll be rewarded with, once up in the air, include the Remarkables, Lake Hayes, Lake Wakatipu, the Kawarau and Shotover River, plus numerous 'Lord Of The Rings' movie locations, which your pilot will be happy to point out.

Flights are calm and relaxing, and will only 'sail' in good conditions, but remember to take as much camera film as you can handle - the views really are mindblowing, and you'll want to record every moment.
